In 1968, leaders founded the Bethel Non
Profit Housing Corporation to provide affordable housing for Asbury Park residents. This mission was realized with the opening of Vita Gardens Apartments, which created a nurturing environment for families and individuals. Over the years, Vita Gardens has provided shelter and stability to many, remaining a vital part of the community today and reflecting the founders' vision.
In 2012, the Bethel Non-Profit Housing Corporation was dissolved, and the BBB for Life Foundation, Inc. was established to support disadvantaged families and youth in Monmouth County, NJ, through hope and positive impact.
